This 1 Thessalonians passage is the heart of our ministry to our Soldiers at Fort Riley. We are honored to serve these special people, to help them come to know the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ, and to fully experience the new spiritual life Jesus offers to all who will believe and worship him.
   
What we do:  Rivendell House is a home-style ministry offered by Larry and Linda Ingalls, who are pastoral missionaries on staff with Shiloh Military Ministries. Through a mentorship and Bible teaching ministry model, the Ingalls reach out to Soldiers with the Christian message and love of Jesus Christ and his salvation for all who will believe.     

During our weekly gatherings for meals or Bible studies or recreation together, our home is a Christian haven (a Rivendell) for rest, for spiritual renewal and growth, for mentoring, and for redemptive friendships.
